Our skilled operatives are currently upgrading the fire alam at the University of Newcastle Medical School to a L2 system.
Additional networked panels and fire detection are being installed using large quantities of MICC cabling.
We are currently undertaking the installation of the fire detection system on behalf of ADT Fire & Security Limited at the Student Loans Company Limited's new Darlington offices and call centre.
This involves installing wire basket trays, galvanised trunking and conduit containment and all soft skin fire resistant cabling.
We recently completed the relocation of Continental Conveyor Limited to their new factory at the Sunderland Enterprise Park.
This involved installing additional distribution equipment, containment and supplies at accommodate over 180 items of 3-phase plant and machinery. Working closely with Continental Conveyor Limited production engineers we managed a smooth transition with minimal down time and loss of production.
We also installed containment power and control to the new Spray Plant, additional small power, lighting, Cat6 and fibre optic cables around the plant.
Our domestic installation team are currently undertaking a new housing development at Woodhorn Colliery, Newbiggin-by-the-sea, Northumberland for Gentoo Construction.
This is a development of 48 timber frame homes that meets stringent energy efficiency regulations.
All of our experienced and qualified installers are fully versed in the electrical and building regulations, and codes of practice employed in modern building construction.
We have recently completed several room refits at Durham University in laboratories, common rooms and classrooms.

KM Electrical Services are entering their 2nd year of a four-year maintenance contract in partnership with Sunter Limited. This involves upgrading heating systems, kitchens and bathrooms for Durham Aged Mineworkers Homes Association in properties across the North East of England.
